Our Objectives
Hold monthly meetings with a lecture or guest speaker
Hold annual general meetings and quarterly executive committee meetings
Publish the quarterly Investigator magazine
Excursions held in Spring and Autumn
Publish books and pamphlets
Provide information on Geelong and District history
Commemorate historical sites with memorials or plaques
Collect and preserve historical documents and artefacts
Assist in the preservation of historical buildings and structures

The Geelong Historical Society Inc (A0051702K) is an incorporated association in Victoria. It is also registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC). Its ABN is 15585238317. Geelong Historical Society Inc is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) from 01 Jun 2001. It is covered by Items 1 & 4 of the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
